"If so, then I must be behind the bars...."

What's that one thing which is very personal to you but others can see it very evidently?

Tears

For me tears have always been more than mere drops of saline. To me tears are more than just psychological response. They are eloquent language, a universal symbol of human tapestry. They are jewellery of living organisms. While speaking about serious issues I find myself under  the weight of emotions, and tears cascade down my cheeks. For me these tears are personal, they are my eloquent language.  Every-time the gates of my souls open, a liquid named, tears flows through my eyes. Each drop that falls, carries a part of my heart, fragment of my strength and a portion of my humanity.

In this era where authenticity is masked with self control and detachment.  I am not afraid to expose my true self. Have you ever felt that sensation when,  tears flows all the way through your cheeks and then they vanish into some silver lining, eating up your vulnerability? I find people saying "toughen up". How can I toughen up when I am soap bubble. I feel that it's okay to cry, to feel deeply, and to be unapologetically human. My tears are a part of who I am and I am not afraid to hide them.

Tears, to me are sign of strength and courage. It takes immense courage for one to allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to feel deeply and to show the world the unfiltered YOU.

If tears are hardware then what is its software?

Emotions

Software to my experience are emotions. The very essence of my existence are my emotions. My emotions are not a simple palette of colours but rich  tapestry of feelings, each put together with unique colours and textures. Much like tears my emotions are borderless and authentic. I am not doubting on your emotions. Emotions are multifaceted, ranging from pure joy of sunrise to profound feeling of sadness. From clear feeling of love to extreme feeling of hatred. My emotions are like compass to me.

Fears warns me of threats. Love binds me to others. And then there's anger, a fiery note in composition, demanding attention when boundaries are crossed and injustices are witnessed. But in this grand performance, sadness also has its role. It's the poignant melody that tugs at our heartstrings , reminding us of our vulnerability and our capacity to empathize with others. Sadness is not a weakness; it is sample of our humanity.

Even animals have emotions. Then what makes us different from them. It is - Our way of expressing. Expression, my dear readers is a paintbrush, that paints with colours of our emotions. Don't you worry, I will explain how. If you want to express through words then there is poetry that dances like gentle breeze, giving voice to our innermost feelings. Through music we can convey emotions that words cannot explain. How can I forget smile. The power of smile, the gesture, these silent expressions convey more than just words. If emotions are like education then expressing emotions are like teachers.

A few words like 'Sorry', 'Thank You', 'Welcome', may feel mere to you. But it has immense impact on the other person. Expressing one's emotions is droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven upon the place beneath. It is twice blest: It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.

So, yeah, I am expressive. I break into tears almost all the times. Is expressing what you feel a crime? If so, then I must be behind the bars. Every mother should be in solitary confinement. Every person who commits the crime of smiling must be executed.
